The ‘Chauthasthambha Special Journalism State-level Award’ is organized by the Apratim Media. Reporters, sub-editors, editors, and analysts from all types of media outlets actively participate, keeping current affairs in their respective fields in mind. Especially those who, through their beat journalism, take a proactive approach to addressing issues in a particular field or subject, analyzing them through their beat journalism, are honored with the Chautha Stambh Award.

This initiative of Apratim Media started in 2010 and has been recognizing journalists who, in various beats such as agriculture, environment, education, health, industry-business, crime reporting, local bodies, and politics, have demonstrated their professional skills and excellence. Selected journalists are awarded the Chautha Stambha Award as a mark of recognition.

In this context, it is imperative to envision sustainable development goals through the diverse fields of journalism, ranging from the environment to politics. To achieve this, the Apratim Media has called upon journalists to work as coordinators in the ‘Apratim Mahavakta – Public Talent Reality Show Series 2032 Towards Sustainable Development Goals.’ Journalists who become members of the ‘AM PRESS CLUB’ will have the opportunity to work in this special program series of upcoming 10 years.
