The main objective of the Apratim Media Foundation is to encourage all types of media organizations and rural-urban journalists to engage in developmental journalism. It aims to provide direct vocational experience to aspiring journalists through a Certificate Course, making them professionals. Alongside this, the foundation is dedicated to offering the best opportunities to responsible citizens by conferring upon them the title of “Citizen Journalist,” along with training in civic journalism. The foundation’s primary focus is to establish a unique identity through two special events: the ‘Fourth Pillar (Chauthastambh) Special Journalism State-Level Award’ and the ‘Apratim Mahavkta – 2032 Public Talent Reality Show Series – Towards the Goal of Sustainable Development.’
