AM 2032 Live: The Master Action Plan for Localization of SDGs

The United Nations, comprising 193 member countries, has committed to achieving sustainable development goals by 2030. Among these countries is our India, whose World SDG Index ranking stands between 120-121. When considering states within India, Maharashtra ranks 9th compared to other states. However, globally and within India, there remains a significant gap in understanding sustainable development goals among the general public even today. Consequently, due to a lack of active civic participation, we find ourselves lagging behind in goal implementation.

Recognizing this issue, the initiative AM 2032 Live (i.e. “Apratim Mahavkta – 2032 Public Talent Reality Show Series – Towards Sustainable Development Goals”) has been meticulously crafted to bring together all stakeholders. The primary aim of the Apratim Media is to encourage all forms of media institutions engaged in development journalism and support rural-urban journalists. Through certification programs offering direct professional experience, it aims to train aspiring journalists and empower responsible citizens as citizen journalists, thereby offering the best opportunities. To fulfill this objective, two special events have been organized: the ‘Fourth Estate (Chauthasatambh) Special Journalism State Awards’ and the AM 2032 Live (‘Apratim Mahavkta – 2032 Public Talent Reality Show Series – Towards Sustainable Development Goals’.)
